Frequently asked questions
How do I use CustomsLimit?
Select your destination country from the Check tab. Add items you plan to bring in the item categories. The app shows whether each item is allowed, restricted, or prohibited. Save your trip to keep a record of your packing plan.
What's the difference between limits and restrictions?
A limit is the maximum amount of an item you can bring duty-free (e.g., 1L of alcohol). A restriction means the item is allowed only under specific conditions. A prohibited item cannot be brought in at all, no matter the amount.
What happens if I exceed the limit?
You may be required to pay duty and import fees. In some cases, items may be confiscated or returned. Always check limits before traveling to avoid delays and extra costs.
Can I bring medications and vitamins?
Most countries allow personal medications in original packaging with a prescription. Vitamins and supplements are usually allowed in reasonable quantities. However, controlled substances and some herbal medicines may be restricted. Always declare medications and check destination country rules.
How often are customs rules updated?
Customs regulations change frequently. CustomsLimit monitors customs databases globally and updates rules regularly. For the most recent changes, check the What's New section in the Profile tab.
How do I cancel my subscription?
